How are the stat priorities determined?

We determine stat priorities by simulating characters equipped with the best gear and talents. This helps us identify which stats are most beneficial for performance. That way, we can tell you exactly which stats will help you optimize your character.

We also offer tools that provide stat priorities customized for your character, which is highly recommended for those looking to fully maximize their performance.

How are the talent builds determined?

We test various talent builds from BiS profiles and raid logs using simulations to determine which builds perform the best. Using our character guides, your character will be simulated in a handful of builds to show you which are most effective for your preferred gameplay.

How often is the guide updated?

We keep our guides fresh by updating them whenever there are significant changes in the game or SimulationCraft—usually at least once a week. This ensures you're always getting information that reflects the current state of the game.
